Power Press Machines C-Type

Frame

The Frame is of all Steel Construction, Fabricated from Steel Plates with Suitable Cross ribbings. Presses upto 30T will be supplied with C.I. Legs. Proper alignment of the frame is ensured by machining of the cut steel plates before welding.

Clutch

The clutch is of pin/rolling key type. The clutch is rigid and well supported. The clutch gives continues stroke for mass production.

Crank Shaft

Crank Shaft is made of special alloy steel machined to close accuracy and fitted in bronze bushes for perfect alignment.

Flywheel

Properly sized flywheel, is made of high grade cast iron & is balanced for storing and releasing adequate energy for the pressing operations.

Gears

Gears are of steel cast. Gear teeth are generated by hobbing.

Table and Ram

Table and ram are made of heavy duty cast iron & seasoned. They are perfectly aligned to each other quality pressings.

Lubrication

An efficient shot lubrication system has been provided for lubrication the sliding surface and moving parts. The lubrication is achieved through hand pump.

  •  In ungeared machine 960 RPM and in Geared / Double Geared 1440 RPM Motor to be used.
  •  5, 10, 80, 100, 150, 200, 250 Tons are single geared.
  •  20, 30, 50 Tons are double geared.

Inclinable / Non-Inclinable Type Presses

Left to right shaft arrangement is better suited when the press is desired to be inclinable. All other aspects remain the same in case of left to right shaft arrangement.


Special Features
  •  The main frame is extremely rigid and will designed fabricated steel structure.
  •  The stresses are so balanced that with full load acting between slide and the table, the compressive and tensile stresses as well as the angular opening of the frame are extremely low. This results in long toll life and accurate stamping.
  •  The closed back structure offers maximum rigidity in the transverse direction and any eccentric loads on the machine are easily sustained.
  •  In case of left to right shaft presses the solid frame construction is adopted with pre-machined, press fitted and welded cartridges for main bearings in place of split cap arrangement. This construction is advantageously used to avoid welds as load bearing members.
